Description:
An academic residential and town center only a few miles from Clemson University, the Villages at Town Creek (formerly Pendleton Station) combines historical architecture with innovative insulating concrete forms (ICFs) that were used in all fire walls, exterior walls, floors and ceilings.
Products Used:
The ICF construction technique consists of expanded polystyrene blocks stacked around steel rebar. Concrete is then poured inside the blocks giving the unit strength and an outstanding insulating quality (R52) and sound suppression capabilities. PENETRON ADMIX was added to the concrete to further raise the quality of the ICF construction by lowering the permeability of concrete for waterproofing and corrosion protection without additional costs to over-excavate for exterior applied systems.
Description:
Located in Brooklyn, NY, “The Smith” is a 13-story, mixed use building with 62,000 square feet of residential space (55 units with high ceilings and oversized windows with views of New York City), 60,000 square feet of hotel, retail, office, and community space on the lower four floors and a 34,000 square foot underground parking garage.
Products Used:
Now an attractive building with a brick exterior fascia, the entire perimeter cavity space is protected on the interior with PENETRON, creating a full perimeter, protective envelope for the entire building.
Description:
Each of the 151 luxury units at “The Seascape” provide private and exclusive resort living at a spectacular waterfront location only minutes away from the central business district, Singapore’s most popular tourist attractions and shopping malls.
Products Used:
PENETRON products were chosen to ensure that The Seascape’s 13,000m3 of below-grade concrete remain durable and watertight. A total of 6,250m PENEBAR SW-55 waterstops were applied in the construction joints of the substructure; PENESEAL PRO was used to protect the external planter boxes.
Description:
A 245m (800-ft.) tall condominium with over 1,000 luxury units, The Sail @ Marina Bay in Singapore is one of the tallest residential buildings in the world. The tower is located in the central business district right on the shores of Marina Bay.
Products Used:
The Sail used PENETRON ADMIX to treat the building’s entire substructure and ensure a completely water-tight foundation.
Description:
The Quadrant is a modern apartment block in the heart of Claremont. Situated near restaurants and Claremont's upmarket Cavendish shopping center, the complex is also close to the sporting grounds where international rugby and cricket matches are held.
Products Used:
Construction was initially so hampered by rain that the original courtyard waterproofing specifications were changed to use PENETRON instead, as it is not as weather sensitive. All elevator shafts were also treated with the PENETRON System.

Products Used:
PENETRON ADMIX was employed in the basement, the elevator shafts and on the lower swimming pool and spa decks.
