The Arena Corinthians in eastern São Paulo, Brazil, is the home stadium of the well-known Sport Club Corinthians Paulista. Newly constructed for the FIFA World Cup 2014, the venue now has a seating capacity of 48,234 (up to 68,000 with removable seats) and will host the opening match of the World Cup.
