Complete waterproofing and protection from corrosion and chloride penetration, and resistance to carbonation was needed.
Products Used:
PENETRON ADMIX was added to fresh concrete (a total of 3,500m3) at the time of batching, and successfully used to create a white tank structure – a completely waterproof structure without the addition of any topical applied products such as membranes or cementitious coatings. All construction joints were treated with PENEBAR SW swellable-type waterstops (1,600m).
