Description:
The Louisiana Immersive Technologies Enterprise (LITE) features the world's first six-sided, digital virtual reality cube and largest 3-D auditorium – powered by one of the fastest supercomputers in the world. The auditorium is three stories high and utilizes six projectors. Visitors enter the space on the second floor and stand on a 10x10-foot area. The images are displayed on the surrounding walls, floor and ceiling. A maze of concrete ducts and tunnels run under the technology center to provide air, cabling pathways and access.
