Marina Bay Financial Centre

Description:
Centrally located on prime waterfront space in Singapore's Central Business District (CBD), Marina Bay Financial Centre including Marina Bay Residences, was developed by renowned developers Cheung Kong Holdings, Jonh Kong Land and Keppel Land and designed by star architect Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates. Phase One of the integrated development comprises 250.000 sqm of grade A office space including Marina Bay Residences tower, which provides 428 state-of-the-art, luxury condominiums with some of the city's most desirable views. The building won the runner-up in the Residential (High Rise) category of the FIABCI Prix d'Excellence 2012 awards, while the Marina Bay Financial Centre (Phase One) office tower received the top award in the Office category.
  

Products Used:
PENETRON ADMIX was used to treat the entire substructure of Marina Bay Financial Centre (Phase One) due to the projects' close proximity to Marina Bay.

Maravilha Port

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Description:
Part of a huge urban renewal effort for the port area of Rio de Janeiro, the project includes the Art Museum of Rio de Janeiro (MAR), the Tomorrow’s Museum, 4km of tunnels, a storm water drainage system, sidewalks, and three new sewage treatment plants.

Products Used:
Both PENETRON ADMIX for concrete structures and PENEBAR SW-55 for concrete joints were used extensively throughout the project.

Mangaung Intermodal Building

Bloemfontein, South Africa

Description:
Situated in the heart of Bloemfontein, this multi-level transportation hub and retail shopping center can accommodate 900 minibus taxis, buses (BRT) and long-distance coaches. Sky bridges and vertical stair-wells provide direct links to the adjacent railway and commuter bus stations. 

Products Used:
PENETRON ADMIX was specified for 28,000m3 of concrete in the public areas to provide extra strength and prolong the life of the building. It is a waterproof and maintenance-free facility.

Manchay Wastewater Treatment Plant

Lima, Peru

Description:
This new wastewater treatment plant in Lima meets stringent regulations for the re-use of effluent to irrigate 1,000 acres of farmland each day, meeting a critical need. The project included installation of more than 267 kilometers of lead lines, mains, distribution, overflow, collectors, secondary drinking water and wastewater pipelines, and 7,800 drinking water and sewerage connections to households; the construction and fitting out of fourteen reservoirs, five tanks, three entry chambers and 244 chambers; the drainage pumping station and control and automation system.

Products Used:
The PENETRON System was used to waterproof and protect the concrete of three water tanks in the Manchay plant against corrosion and chemical attack.

Lutetian Garden

Jinzhou, China

Description:
This huge development is the top residential compound in Jinzhou (Liaoning Province). However, abundant cracking occurred on the site, resulting in many leaks.

Products Used:
All basement areas in the complex were treated; the leaks were stopped with PENEPLUG, the cracks repaired with PENECRETE MORTAR and the whole underground structure was coated with two coats of PENETRON. The entire underground car park was also waterproofed. The owner was so pleased with the results that his own penthouse terrace was waterproofed with PENETRON, rather than the product specified for the exposed areas.

Lucio Fariña Stadium

Quillota, Chile

Description:
The Lucio Fariña Stadium in Quillota seats 7,500 fans and is home to the San Luis Quillota soccer team (in Chile’s First Division). A special feature is the stadium’s archeological exhibition hall, which exhibits remains of an Aconcagua, Bato and Inca cultural complex, discovered and conserved during the stadium construction project.

PENETRON ADMIX was chosen to waterproof and protect the concrete stands.
