Description:
The City of Harrisonburg, Virginia commissioned new water tanks (a main 5 million gallon tank and a smaller 600,000 gallon tank) to provide many years of service.
Products Used:
The pre-stressed concrete tanks were treated with PENETRON ADMIX in a shotcrete process, providing the concrete with very low permeability characteristics and corrosion protection needed for the prestressed cables and rebar used in the tank construction.
Description:
Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur around the corner from the iconic PETRONAS twin towers, the Grand Hyatt is Kuala Lumpur’s newest luxury hotel. This 40-storey building offers 370 rooms and 42 luxury suites with floor-to-ceiling windows and breathtaking panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur. The hotel also houses serviced apartments and offices on the lower floors and a 4-level underground parking garage.

PENETRON ADMIX was added to approximately 10,018m3 of basement concrete to ensure protection against water ingress. A total area of 16,435m2 was coated with PENETRON and a 4,647m2 area of roof concrete was treated with PENESEAL PRO.
Description:
Located in a notoriously high water table zone, the Global Tower IT Park has a total basement area of 17,000m2. The project looked to PENETRON for the needed waterproofing, as similar projects in Noida also successfully used PENETRON.

A major portion of the basement was done with the PENETRON Applicator.
Description:
The distinctive waterfront gardens in the heart of Marina Bay define Singapore as the world's premier tropical garden city. The Conservatory Complex is an all-weather ‘edutainment’ space, an architectural icon, a horticultural attraction, and a showcase of sustainable energy technology. The large Flower Dome is one of two cooled conservatories that replicates the cool-dry Mediterranean climate and semi-arid subtropical climates, with an uncommon range of flowers and plants.

The project represented severe waterproofing challenges as it is built entirely on reclaimed land and right next to the ocean. 18,300 m3 of concrete were cast with PENETRON ADMIX in the base slab and walls; PENEBAR SW 55 was used in the construction joints and PENESEAL PRO on the mountain walls.
Description:
The renovated water treatment plant features not only a new water storage tank for additional treatment capacity, but also a new filtration and backwash / sedimentation system to better recycle the available water resources and save thousands of gallons of water every day.
Products Used:
The crystalline waterproofing technology of PENETRON ADMIX allowed treatment of the underpinning concrete with no additional on-site labor, shoring, or foundation support.
Description:
The Expo 2010 Shanghai China was the biggest World Expo to date, with more than 190 countries and 50 international organizations participating; over 73 million people visited the Expo 2010, also an attendance record. The Expo Axis, the largest single structure of the Expo 2010, is a one-kilometer-long and 100m wide walkway that runs from the Expo main entrance straight to the Celebration Square by the Huangpu River. It consists of two underground and two above-ground levels and connects the major Expo 2010 exhibition areas, with retail, food, entertainment and exhibition service facilities. It also connected several metro stations and the elevated pedestrian walkway. During the Expo 2010, the Expo Axis served as the major artery for the heavy pedestrian flow.
Products Used:
PENETRON was applied as a dry shake to waterproof and protect the entire bottom concrete slab of the Expo Axis against the high groundwater table (due to its close proximity to the Huangpu River). Over 216 tons of PENETRON materials were applied.
