Description:
This new underground line is 16 km long, with 6 new stations. It will link Barra da Tijuca (western zone) to Ipanema (southern zone) with a 300,000 passengers/day capacity.
Products Used:
PENEBAR SW-55 and PENETRON were used to waterproof the concrete joints of all the stations.
Description:
The "Rigas Udens" municipal water reservoir system supplies the city of Riga with drinking water, feeding from sites outside the area of Riga through surface water and ground water intakes.
Products Used:
PENETRON, PENECRETE and PENEPLUG were used on all water tanks and channels of the system; a crucial factor was the protection of the concrete against chemical attack in addition to the waterproofing.
Description:
The addition of a new ramp for the Dongbu Expressway also included the construction of a traffic tunnel. However, due to problems with water leaks in previous tunnel projects under the Expressway, the project managers looked for a new – and more effective – waterproofing solution. The waterproofing material needed to withstand the road vibrations above, eliminate water leaks, which would help minimize later repair work (and traffic interruptions).
Products Used:
PENETRON ADMIX-treated concrete was used at the concrete walls, floors and ceilings of the tunnel. It quickly eliminated the problem of leakage through cracks caused by the constant road vibrations. In addition, the concrete now has a self-healing capability to seal later cracks and help keep the structure watertight.
Description:
A modern, 18-floor hotel with sweeping views of the Indian Ocean from all 173 hotel rooms, the Radisson Blu features contemporary architecture and chic urban interiors.
Products Used:
PENETRON ADMIX was used for the swimming pool construction that forms the canopy to the main Hotel. PENETRON ADMIX was also used in the roof slab, eliminating the need for a bitumen torch on membrane and providing a substantial savings.
Description:
The Quayside Isle at Sentosa Cove is a high-end commercial facility adjacent to the “W” Hotel and features an expansive two-floor shopping mall along with a basement area.
Products Used:
About 5,500m3 of concrete were cast with PENETRON ADMIX; 2,200m of PENEBAR SW-55 was applied in the construction joints to fully protect and waterproof the project.
Description:
Putrajaya is Malaysia's new government administration center, about 25km south of the capital, Kuala Lumpur. It is home to a number of official buildings including the prime minister's office, the Putrajaya International Convention Center (PICC) and the Putra Mosque. Precinct 4 is a business / commercial area that was built in a wetland area. This made waterproof protection for the basement structures of the government buildings essential.

The PENETRON System was chosen to effectively waterproof and protect a sub-structure area of 40,000m2 to ensure long-term use of the 4-level basement structure.
