Description:
Totally renewed for the Commonwealth Games with PENETRON concrete waterproofing technology, the year-long renovation project included a complete renovation of the Olympic-size racing and diving pools and addition of a new warm-up pool below the stands.  The Talkatora Stadium now conforms to international standards and seating capacity was also increased to accommodate 5,000.

Products Used:
A total of 5,084m² of pool concrete surface was treated with PENETRON, 316m³ of concrete treated with PENETRON ADMIX were used during the reconstruction of the existing pools and the new warm up pool.  A total of 2,043 meters of existing construction joints were repaired with PENECRETE MORTAR; PENEBAR SW-45 was used for 360 meters of new construction joints and around pipe penetrations.

Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia

Description:

Located in Shah Alam, the state capital of Selangor, Suria Jelutong is a mixed development project located in the upcoming commercial center of Bukit Jelutong – an attractive address in popular Shah Alam, adjacent to the Bukit Cahaya Forest Reserve.

Products Used:
To protect the entire foundation against water penetration and concrete deterioration, 6,500m³ of concrete were treated with PENETRON ADMIX; all construction joints were sealed with PENEBAR SW-55 waterstops.

Noida, India

Description:

The design of this commercial center features an open atrium and passages for the smooth flow of shoppers and attractive business areas for retailers.  The building is located between the Noida Express Highway and the Jaypee Greens park area, and surrounded by two hotels and various residential buildings.   The waterproofing needs of the project encompassed three levels and the basement.

Products Used:
PENETRON ADMIX was used to cover a 7,750m² area, including the basement and three above-ground levels.

Kota Dmansara, Petailing Jaya, Malaysia

Description:
Sunway Nexis is a mixed development with commercial and residential areas: a 3-storey retail building (Nexis Shoppe), a 13-storey commercial tower (Nexis Biz Suite) and a 20-storey small home/office building (Nexis Flexi Suite). All buildings feature a 2-level basement parking garage. The development also offers health and fitness facilities, lush landscaping and green “backdrops” visible from most of the units.

Products Used:
A certified green product, PENETRON ADMIX was used to protect 4,800m³ of basement concrete and a total of 1,100 meters of PENEBAR SW-55 were installed to seal construction joints.

South Carolina, USA

Description:
The facility expansion and new system additions to the waste water treatment plant in Summerville, South Carolina included a new screenings facility and RAS/IAS pump station.

Products Used:
PENETRON ADMIX was specified for the entire structure of the new pump station wet well, base slab of the clarifier tank and the floor and retaining walls of the screenings building. With these facility additions and changes, the Public Works department will realize an initial annual savings of approximately $350,000 per year.
